Audrey Tautou
Audrey Tautou was born in Beaumont in Puy de-Domme, France on the 9th of August, 1976. She was the youngest of four children. Audrey Tautou's parents who work as dentists and teacher in a school, have encouraged and supported her from the beginning of her enthusiasm for theater and drama. She initially hoped to become a master monkey was replaced by her ambition to study theater and drama. Success in the beginning and an immediate gain in acclaim was a sign of her development as an actor. After completing her education, she was able to take part in Jeunes Premiers, a French show on TV that is a talent scouting initiative, which is sponsored by Canal+. She also won the Best Young Actress award at Beziers Festival of Young Actors. The experience led her to start her acting career professionally. Tautou was educated at in the Institut Catholique de Paris, and was a member of the church when she was an early girl. She has since distanced herself with this background. She has stated that she is not necessarily Catholic. She has pursued a modeling career in addition to her acting work and is the face of L'Oreal Mont Blanc and Chanel frequently referred to as the Chanel Muse. Her photography is also a love of hers and she has been exhibiting her work at the Arles festival under the name Superficial. In her photographs, she concentrates on the spotlight and celebrity. The camera's lens is focused on journalists who have scrutinised the actress since her unexpected fame. Audrey Tautou shot to stardom and international fame with her first major role starring as the lead in Le Fabuleux Destiny d'Amelie. Amelie was a box office film that received acclaim during awards ceremonies across all over the world. It remains the highest grossing French language film to be released in the US. In the wake of this enormous success, Tautou was later cast in many films which included British dramas such as Stephen Knight's Dirty Pretty Things and Jean-Pierre Jeunet's Un long dimanche de fiancailles. In addition, she was a part of Tom Hanks in Ron Howard's The Da Vinci Code directed by Dan Brown.
