Audrey Tautou

Audrey Tautou was born in Beaumont in France's Puy-de-Domme on 8 August 1976. She was youngest of four children. She was encouraged by parents, a dentist and a teacher, who both were teachers to pursue her passion in the theatre. This contrasted to an earlier desire to be a primatologist due to the fact that she loved monkeys. Her rise to fame as a young actress was swift and marked by a rapid rise to fame. After completing her masters degree, she was asked to take part in Jeunes Premiers which is which is a French television talent-scouting program that was sponsored by Canal+. She also took home the Most Popular Young Actress award at Beziers Festival of Young Actors. The experience led her to embark on a professional acting career. Though she was a student at the Institut Catholique de Paris and had a religious affiliation in her early years, Tautou has distanced herself from this upbringing, stating that she's not Catholic. In addition to acting, she has also been a model and the model for L'Oreal Mont Blanc as well as Chanel. The model also has an interest in photography and recently produced an exhibition of her work at the Arles Festival, titled Superficial. Her photography largely focuses on celebrities and their fame. She also is focused on the journalists who scrutinised her after her meteoric fame as Amelie as well as a series of self-portraits. Audrey Tautou rose to fame and fame with her starring part in the film Le Fabuleux of Amelie Poulain. Amelie is a box office hit internationally and was recognized at many awards shows across the globe. The movie is the highest-grossing French language movie across the US. Following this success Tautou starred in numerous movies ranging from British dramatics such as Stephen Knight's Dirty Pretty Things to Jean-Pierre Jeunet's Long Sunday de fiancailles, and then he moved into Hollywood by directing Ron Howard of The Da Vinci Code, a Dan Brown bestseller The Da Vinci Code alongside Tom Hanks.
